Lifelong serves as the central housing referral and placement service for people living with HIV/AIDS in King County.
We work closely with non-profit and private landlords to provide a variety of options including:
• Emergency housing provides homeless people emergency shelter through various providers.
• Transitional housing addresses several housing-related service needs to adequately prepare people for an appropriate permanent housing placement.
• Permanent housing places people in safe, affordable housing within the community.
Lifelong provides one-time rental assistance grants to people we serve in order to prevent eviction.
We also provide housing search resources through our housing website, http://www.housingadvocate.org/. This website is a comprehensive, searchable database of transitional and permanent housing resources in Seattle/King County.
