Unicorn Booty - a New Website that Connects Gay Consumers with Allied Businesses in a Fun and Unique Way
Hello Lifelong! This is Kevin and Nick, the founders of UnicornBooty.com, a sassy, fun and brand spankin' new website that connects gay consumers with gay-friendly businesses. We are 26 year-old gay males from Seattle and we started Unicorn Booty to create a community of shared interests, a community that leverages the $825 billion collective buying power of the LGBT market to change the way companies approach our community. By only supporting gay-owned and allied businesses, we can truly effect change. The only problem is that it is often hard to find small-to-midsize businesses that are allied with the gay community - that's where Unicorn Booty comes in!
HOW IT WORKS
A different company sponsors each day of the year. We then give away a product or service from that day's sponsor to one lucky user. Users simply comment on that day's product for an entry to win. They can also share it with their networks for extra chances to win. Consumers can win free stuff while learning about gay-friendly businesses. Businesses benefit from a new style of social consumer marketing that is more engaging and memorable than traditional one-way advertising.
The best part is that we give 10% to a different LGBT non-profit every quarter! And that's why you are reading about the Booty on Lifelong's website: We are proud to announce that our first non-profit partner is Seattle's Lifelong AIDS Alliance! As local Seattleites, we have seen the great work that Lifelong does, up close and personal. We look forward to a long-term relationship with LLAA, providing as much financial and promotional support as possible.

We also thrive as a space for businesses to present their products and policies to the gay community. And by giving 10% of our proceeds to LGBT non-profits, we are building a holistic platform that is equally beneficial to all: users, businesses and society at large. It may sound idealistic, but we believe it is entirely feasible.
