Insurance Accountant

DEFINITION:
The Insurance Program Accountant is responsible for a range of accounting functions, including monthly contract billing, quarterly program audits, and monthly reconciliations. The Insurance Program Accountant reports to the Controller. This is a full-time, exempt, non-union, regular position.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Act as primary Accountant for all accounting activities related to the Insurance Continuation Program.
2. Perform quarterly internal audits of the program according to contract standards.

Referral Services Supervisor

DEFINITION:
The Referral Services Supervisor is responsible for program and system oversight; revenue monitoring and quality assurance for the AIDS Care Access Project (ACAP), Seattle Treatment Education Program (STEP), Mental Health Access Project (MHAP), and duties falling under the Client Services Program Coordinator. Responsibilities include providing leadership, direction and administration to ensure missions are realized and contract obligations are met. The Referral Services Supervisor reports to the Case Management Manager. This is a non-union, exempt, full-time, regular position.

Development Coordinator/Major Gifts Assistant

DEFINITION:
The Development Coordinator provides administrative support to the Development Director and assists with many core department functions with an emphasis on major donors. This support will include assisting with cultivation of the Board of Directors, and both current and prospective major donors.  The Development Coordinator reports to the Director of Development. This is a full-time, non-exempt, union, regular position.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide support for donor relations in all areas of development and events.
2. Edit and format correspondence and proposals as requested.

Bilingual Treatment Adherence Coordinator

DEFINITION:
The STEP Treatment Education Coordinator is responsible for providing one-on-one HIV/AIDS treatment and adherence information to clients on HIV medications. The Treatment Education Coordinator will work closely with community medical providers to provide adherence counseling to their patients starting or changing HIV medications or those experiencing difficulties with their current regimens. This is a full-time, exempt, union, regular position.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide one-on-one HIV/AIDS treatment and adherence information to clients both onsite at Lifelong and in the field.

Case Managment Supervisor

DEFINITION:
The Case Management Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision, ongoing consultation and training of client services staff in the Case Management Unit.  In addition, the Supervisor will work directly with clients.  This position reports to the Manager of the Case Management program. This is a full-time, exempt, non-union, regular position.   Salary range is $36,000 – 41,000.  The full compensation package including benefits, holiday, vacation, and sick is $46,000-51,000/DOE

1. On-site availability for supervision and consultation to case managers on a full-time basis 

Bilingual Case Manager

DEFINITION:
The Bilingual Case Manager assists clients to access and engage in psychosocial, medical, home-care and supportive services.  This position conducts comprehensive assessments, develops and updates service plans and facilitates the acquisition of all appropriate services.  The Bilingual Case Manager reports to the Case Management Manager. This is a full-time, exempt, union, regular position.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Conduct comprehensive assessments for people with HIV disease; develop, implement and revise service plans on an ongoing basis.
2. Link people to and serve as liaison between clients and public and private services.

Job Description

Lifelong AIDS Alliance is a non-profit agency that is committed to preventing the spread of HIV, and to providing practical support services and advocating for those whose lives are affected by HIV and AIDS. Lifelong AIDS Alliance provides housing, food and nutrition services, insurance continuation, case management and emergency financial assistance to people living with HIV/AIDS. Wise and efficient organization and administrative systems are crucial to the provision of client services.

Nutrition Assistant

DEFINITION:
Chicken Soup Brigade –Lifelong’s Food Program (CSB) provides homemade frozen meals, groceries, and nutrition counseling to people living with HIV/AIDS and other disabling illnesses.  The primary responsibility of the Nutrition Assistant is to provide support to our dietetic staff by assisting with nutrition screening and appointment setting. All other duties are flexible and will attempt to be sensitive to the learning needs of the Nutrition Assistant. This position meets the needs for work-study or unpaid field experience and reports to the Nutrition Services Manager. Requires a commitment of 10-20 hours each week.

Pike Market Case Manager

DEFINITION:
The Case Manager assists patients of Pike Market, who are HIV+ or who have AIDS, to access and to and maintain medical care and treatment adherence while providing referrals and follow up to supportive services including psychological, dental, chemical dependency. This position is the primary case manager for Pike Market and will include case managing clients not at Pike Market as well as assisting with Information and Referral services. This position conducts comprehensive assessments, develops and updates service plans, facilitates the acquisition of all appropriate services, provides financial advocacy and brief advocacy services as needed.  This Case Manager reports to the Case Management Supervisor.  This is a full-time, exempt, union, regular position that includes working off-site.

MHAP Coordinator

DEFINITION:

The Mental Health Access Project (MHAP) Coordinator recruits, establishes and maintains dental and mental health providers to the Mental Health Access Program (MHAP) and the Early Intervention Program (EIP).  This position, in collaboration with Referral Services staff, assists persons living in King County with HIV/AIDS in accessing dental and mental health care.  The MHAP Coordinator will provide a link between the community, health and social service systems. The MHAP Coordinator reports to the Referral Services Manager. This is a union, non-exempt, part-time (between 20-30 hours), regular position.
