Visit our thrift storeLaura Treadway grew up in the Midwest, and has studied abroad in Kenya, Nicaragua, and Japan, but has been in Seattle long enough that this feels like home. A Bachelor's Degree in Sociology/Anthropology from Earlham College and a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from the University of Washington put her on track to work closely with both people and systems. She has worked in the HIV/AIDS field since 1996, joining Lifelong in 1997, and has managed the Insurance Program since 2002. Her team of seven staff help more than 1,500 Washington residents with HIV access health insurance every year. In her spare time, she walks around Green Lake, enjoys photography, and knits a mean scarf.
