Care Services

Case Management
Lifelong’s case managers are at the center of care for people living with HIV/AIDS. They are truly a person’s lifeline.

Chicken Soup Brigade
Nothing makes a person feel better than chicken soup. Each week, we feed hundreds with provide fresh-cooked meals, hearty groceries and, of course, delicious soup.

Insurance
Medical care is vital for living a healthy life with HIV/AIDS. Our insurance program makes it possible for those without insurance to continue seeing their doctor and receiving the treatment they need to live.

Housing
It’s difficult to maintain your health when you don’t have a roof over your head. Lifelong’s housing program connects people with emergency, temporary and permanent housing.

AIDS Care Access Project (ACAP)
ACAP specializes in connecting HIV+ people with doctors and dentists that specialize in caring for people living with HIV/AIDS.

Mental Health Access Program (MHAP)
MHAP breaks down the financial barrier to clients accessing mental health care.  We pay insurance co-pays for sessions with therapists who are experienced in caring for HIV positive individuals.

Seattle Treatment Education Project (STEP)
Adhering to complicated drug regimens, which often include dozens of pills each day, can be difficult, but is vital for maintaining health. Our STEP program helps people stick to their medications, on time, every time.

Prevention/Education
Preventing the spread of HIV is the single most effective way that we can end the AIDS epidemic. Lifelong distributes hundreds of thousands of condoms and safer-sex messages, counsels individuals one-on-one regarding risky behaviors, and educates youth about making healthier decisions.

Advocacy
Our policy advocates work at the local, state and national levels to ensure that legislators pass laws that are beneficial for people living with HIV/AIDS across the Pacific Northwest.

Volunteer Services
We simply could not fulfill our mission of serving people living with HIV/AIDS without the tireless efforts of the more than 800 volunteers that do everything from answering phones to delivering meals.

Events
Each year, Lifelong’s events raise $1.5 million for our programs and services. Whether you’re dining at your favorite restaurant, taking to the streets of Seattle or playing bingo with a 7’2” drag queen, you can have fun and fight AIDS at the same time!

Lifelong Thrift Store
